| 1954 - 1957 Photos These photos were furnished by Gary T. "Hands" Adair EN2 who served on the LST 1126 during 1954-1957. As an engineman, he spent a lot of time in the Main Engine Room. Although his job was mostly in the Main Engine room he managed to have time to work on the other deisels in the AUX engine room and around the ship. It would be interesting to know how many miles we traveled using those main engines during his tour of duty while crossing and traveling the Pacific Ocean. |
